Pin Grading Scale

I do not offer perfect pins!

Below is detailed my personal grading system for pins. While pin grading is subjective person to person, I do my best to make sure that all pins are graded correctly. Please keep in mind that hard enamel pins are a handmade item so they will rarely be “perfect”. Pin Grading Scale

A Grade

These pins are free from major imperfections but may have minor imperfections upon very close inspection or under strong lighting

• Minor scratches/scuffs
• Small specks or bubbles on the enamel
• Minor under/overfilled areas of enamel
• Imperfections on the backside
• Slight misalignment of screenprinting

B Grade

These pins have noticeable imperfections that do not detract from the overall pins design.

• Noticeable scratches/scuffs
• Multiple small specks or bubbles on the enamel
• Noticeable under/overfilled areas of enamel
• Noticeable misalignment of screen printing
• Minor Oxidation of metal plating
